Review of: FineSmile IQ Toothbrush

I have a lot on my plate in everyday life, so I always love it when evening comes and it's time for my evening routine. As someone who travels a lot and cares about their appearance, I have spent several years trying to find smart products and solutions that can be taken on the go without compromising their effectiveness. Previously, I had my Oral-B toothbrush, but switched to a manual toothbrush because it always needed charging (and it took up a lot of space). So when I got the opportunity to try the electric toothbrush from FineSmile, to give a review, I didn't hesitate.

The advantages of a sonic electric toothbrush

There are actually quite a few scientific studies that have investigated the effect of electric toothbrushes, and they indicate that a more effective brushing is achieved compared to manual toothbrushes, as there are many more rotations and deeper cleaning.

We all probably know the classic electric toothbrushes that work by the brush head rotating. What is different about a sonic toothbrush is that instead of rotating, it vibrates. This is supposed to provide a much more effective brushing, and without the toothbrush spraying water or toothpaste (a problem some other electric toothbrushes can have).

The sonic technology also means that the FineSmile IQ toothbrush makes much less noise than other alternatives (under 50 dB according to their site). The sonic technology has also made it possible to change "brush settings" - this means that you can change the frequency of the vibrations, depending on the type of brushing you are looking for. If you often charge your toothbrush (as I unfortunately always did), struggle with its noise and spray, or don't want an ugly charger for your toothbrush sitting out, then the idea of an electric toothbrush might not be so appealing. That's why I must say, I was incredibly surprised when FineSmile told me about the battery life of their toothbrush. My personal experience and thoughts on the FineSmile electric toothbrush

When I received the package from FineSmile, it first and foremost came in incredibly beautiful packaging with information about their toothbrush. I opened it and found that the toothbrush comes with an extra brush head and a super nice case - perfect for storing it! The first thing I noticed when I took the toothbrush out was (besides its incredibly stylish design) that it was very light and small. I had read that it was smaller than other alternatives, but still, it was clearly smaller than I thought - actually 2 times smaller than my old electric toothbrush!

I received the toothbrush in their pink color, which is simply so beautiful. FineSmile writes a lot about how their sonic technology allows the toothbrush to create 32,000 vibrations per minute (which should provide incredibly effective brushing). The first time I used the FineSmile toothbrush, I will admit, I wasn't a big fan. It felt a bit strange with the sonic technology, as I hadn't experienced a similar sensation before. But already on the second evening with the toothbrush, I had gotten used to the vibrations instead of the rotations. On the 4th day, I was surprised that my teeth actually seemed to have become cleaner and whiter, so I brushed twice with it that evening. I was so happy with it!

Not only did the toothbrush seem to make my teeth cleaner, but its size and battery are simply brilliant. Furthermore, it's waterproof, which just makes it even more durable (for those times when you're in a hurry and brush your teeth in the shower, like me). That's why I've now also bought a toothbrush for my boyfriend, who was actually quite jealous of how cool it looked :-)
